Take a moment to check in with your body today.

Ask yourself:

What has your morning been like?

What have you eaten today? Did you remember to eat? Have you had any water?

How soundly did you sleep last night?

How stressful are your surroundings right now? (Whether it’s dealing with family or your co-workers.)

Is your day going pretty much according to schedule?

Now ask yourself how your body feels. Are you tired? Stiff? Achey? Dealing with a new/old injury/pain?

Getting a baseline of where you are is of utmost importance before jumping into any exercise regimen. This routine is not a prescription for physical therapy or movement. These are suggestions for breaking up with monotony of the daily routine without a huge commitment in a) having to get to the gym or b) having fancy equipment. This is not a “no pain, no gain” situation, do not work through pain. This is a movement snack for your body.
